Emma H. Tobin is a Peabody Award-winning visual storyteller and senior manager based in New York City, with a proven track record developing and producing compelling video and photo stories for Fortune 500 brands (like Marriott, Starbucks, Adobe, top AI labs) and major news organizations. She has created work in 28 countries and is always travel-ready, combining global field experience with a story-first mindset that drives impact.

With deep roots in visual journalism, shaped by roles at CNN and the Associated Press, Tobin specializes in human-centered storytelling. She leads and contributes to the full production process, bringing advanced technical skills across directing, filming, editing, producing, and live event execution. As a strategic communicator and collaborative leader, she champions creative teams with empathy, clarity, and vision.

Tobin holds an FAA Part 107 commercial drone license and a Wilderness First Responder certification, and is equally comfortable in the field or the studio.

Her work has been recognized by the Overseas Press Club Foundation, James Beard Foundation, National Press Photographers Foundation, NLGJA, and Facebook. Tobin holds an M.A. in documentary film and visual journalism as well as a B.A. in environmental studies, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
